§40-196.14.
   
   A. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 4 of Section 196.2 of
   Title 40 of the Oklahoma Statutes, a public body may write into a
   contract provisions requiring a certain percentage of laborers and
   mechanics in each craft, or a total percent of all workmen employed on
   the public works project be residents of a school district, or
   municipality, or county commissioner district as the case may be,
   without a resolution or ordinance.
   
   B. Notwithstanding Section 196.2a of Title 40 of the Oklahoma
   Statutes, a public body may stipulate in a contract that prevailing
   wages will be applicable on a public work project.
